Visit to People’s History Museum in Manchester
Last week a small group of Disabled People’s Action Group members visited the People’s History Museum in Manchester to see the ‘Nothing About Us Without Us’ exhibition about the history of disability rights activism.
The exhibition explores some of the battles disabled people have fought through recent history and includes protest banners, artworks, cartoons and writings. It is an interesting and moving exhibition. If you are interested in disability rights the exhibition is well worth a visit before it closes on 16th October.
