There is a waiting list for each of these schemes. Please read the Information on Holiday Project booklet and if you think you may be eligible, please contact one of our Holiday Project Officers who will be able to provide you with the information you need to proceed.
Holiday Project for Carers
This project offers the following services:
- Advice with planning and organising a holiday;
- Information about accessible accommodation, holidays with support, travel insurance and hiring disability equipment;
- A Carer’s Holiday grant of up to £300 to carers who fulfil the relevant criteria;
- Help to find extra funding for a holiday;
- Signposting to other carers’ and disability services.
Holiday & Recreation Project for Disabled People
Equality Together will work on behalf of a disabled person to raise funds. We do this by working and liaising through other charities to enable a disabled person to enjoy a holiday.
We can also research and arrange suitable accessible accommodation and transport on your behalf. Please contact us if you require any help.
From time to time, this organisation raises extra funding to provide day trips for carers and disabled people.
From time to time, this organisation raises extra funding to provide day trips for carers and disabled people. These trips are usually free of charge, with a nominal, refundable deposit payable.
